PREPARING A WILL GIVES YOU PEACE OF MIND AND ENSURES YOUR ASSETS ARE MANAGED AS YOU INTEND.

Our wills and estates lawyers will construct your will according to the type and nature of your assets, and consider other factors such as whether a testamentary trust is more appropriate for your circumstances.

HUNT & HUNT CAN ASSIST YOU IN ALL ESTATE MATTERS:

A will is a legal document that lets you decide what happens with your estate after you die, who will inherit your estate and who will administer the estate.

There are so many reasons to have a valid will, some being

  • Saves stress, time and money for your loved ones
  • Allows you to choose who will manage your estate
  • Let’s you choose who will inherit and who will not
  • Nominate your preferred funeral arrangements

If you die without a will these decisions will be made in accordance with the law, not your wishes,  making it more difficult for your loved ones.

In the event that you are unable to manage your own affairs you can nominate who can make decisions on your behalf.  The staff at Hunt & Hunt can assist you in all areas of Advanced Personal Plans covering your financial and health requirements

If a loved one passes and has left a valid will, you may need to apply to the Supreme Court for a Grant of Probate, which allows the nominated executor to administer the estate.

If they pass without a will,  you may need to apply to the court for a Letter of Administration that appoints an administrator to administer the estate.

This process can be stressful.  The staff at Hunt & Hunt are here to help.

If a family member passes away and you feel that you have not been provided for, you may be able to make a claim under the

Family Provisions Act: Times limits apply, so contact Hunt & Hunt.  We are here to help.
